2008 marked the first year of collaboration between GP2 and HITCO as the
official brake supplier to the series, supplying carbon brakes to all
thirteen teams. The conception of GP2 in 2004 to become the
definitive support and feeder series to Formula 1, has over the past few
years become reality with Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Timo Glock and
most recently Nico Hülkenberg and Pastor Maldonado graduating from GP2 to
race in F1. This notion was further reinforced in the final race of the 2008 Formula One Season where Lewis Hamilton, the 2006 GP2 Series Champion was crowned Formula 1 World Champion and it is in this respect that HITCO is proud to bring leading brake technology to the forefront of GP2. |

GP2 Series 2011 |

| 2011 will mark
the fourth year of partnership between GP2 and HITCO as the official
brake supplier to the series. A partnership that brought not only
advantages in terms of brake performance, but owing to the renowned
durability of HITCO brakes allowed for a significant reduction in brake
usage over previous seasons and significant cost savings for the teams. Following on from success in the main GP2 Series, HITCO became the official brake supplier to the Asian Series in late 2009. This transition meant that every GP2 car would now race on HITCO brakes and this will continue into 2011 with the new Dallara designed chassis and Pirelli tyres. The 2011 GP2 season sees the expansion of the grid to thirteen teams with Team Air Asia and Carlin Motorsport joining the series for their debut seasons. |
